Fägring debuted in 2022 with the EP "Rockpsalm" which drew its inspiration from a clear guitar-based indie tradition. The band then locked themselves in the rehearsal room, a concrete basement that had previously been the site of a BDSM club at Hisingen in Gothenburg, and began the painstaking process where what had previously been simple, straightforward songs were allowed to float out into something bigger. No song was left to chance, no one was abandoned. Once out the other side, the band had outdone themselves with a collection of songs overflowing with strong melodies, razor-sharp guitars and that unpredictable nerve that can only be created when people play in a room together.

On May 17, Fägring's debut album "Obalans" will be released, which was recorded in various reputable studios around Sweden: Christoffer Lundqvist's "AGM" outside Sjöbo, Joakim Lindberg's "Studio Sickan" in Malmö and Kristoffer Ragnstam's "Lüxfällan" in Kungälv.
