De blindas stad is a collection of songs about the journey from the Åland archipelago to the hustle and bustle of the big city, to the tunes of powerful and atmospheric alternative pop.

In terms of sound, the EP draws inspiration from both Dylan's 60s and Tom Petty's 80s. Compared to Bromander's previous three albums, De blindas stad, thanks to the collaboration with producer Martin "Konie" Ehrencrona, is a little more rough and tumbled around the edges, but without losing the tenderness and richness of detail that pervades Bromander's artistry.

​On the EP, Bromander tries to put into words the feelings about not being seen and reasons about personal artistic integrity. Bromander seeks answers to what it means to be human in a society with often quite clear expectations.
